From the Beginning till Now

Our journey started in April of 2015. During the 3 month long vacation after our exams, we started our hand-painted T-shirt Shop and named it Clumsy Crafter BD, because we were indeed a little clumsy with a strong desire for our craft. The road from then has not been easy for us. Being teenagers, we had to face a lot of obstacles and there was a steep learning curve from sourcing materials to managing finances, maintaining the business, and devoting time to the hand-painted products. Gradually we transitioned towards making print-on-demand notebooks and eventually shifted our focus towards totes and bags in general as that is where our collective interests lay.

 

We have always had a keen sense of developing and building each individual product from scratch. We started sourcing the materials locally and produced them as ethically as possible, ensuring the craftsmen at our workshop were paid fairly and in a safe working environment. Our vision is quite simple and clear, we want to keep crafting budget-friendly unique fashion accessories for the majority of the youth of our country and encourage them to shop local instead of mass-produced and unethically made products.

 

We aim to make our products as environmentally sustainable as possible, eliminating extra waste. All of this is possible due to the unimaginable support and love from our devoted customer base and the wonderful souls we have met throughout the years on our now 9-year-long journey. We hope to continue to grow and evolve as we expand further.
